Robert P. Lockyer was honorably discharged from U.S. Naval Base Barbers Point in 1981 after a four year term as flight crew for one of the Navy's P3 Orion squadrons. He completed the University of Utah liberal education requirements in 1984 and studied computer science and accounting at Westminster College in 1985 while employed at Microshare Corporation. Bob was a computer programmer for nine years developing business accounting software with Microshare's software development customers supporting a diverse set of industry accounting operations.

In 1994, he joined AXA Equitable Life Assurance Society as a Financial Advisor. For the past twenty-two years he has developed his professional practice providing employee benefit plans, business succession planning and back office mergers & acquisition support for his client's closely-held business transactions. From 2002 until 2009 Bob provided education training for AXA's Western Division branch supporting eighty colleagues in their practice while earning Million Dollar Round Table (MDRT) status every year in his private insurance practice.

In his early civic activities beginning year 1988, he volunteered his time helping children in the BigBrothers-BigSisters organization as a mentor. In the 90's as a member of the Chambers of Commerce, he chaired a small business committee for several years that was housed inside a 3,000 business member organization, the Salt Lake Chamber of Commerce. The committee championed two state legislative bills during this time and a rules compliance bill passed the Utah Legislature in 1999. Bob won a Chamber Champion award that year and was invited to sit on Governor Leavitt's Technology committee housed inside the Utah Bar Association.

In 2007, he won an elected volunteer position in a 2,500 county delegate group for his county political party's Bylaws committee. He was elected chair in an internal twelve member committee decision one year later in 2008. In California, Bob was vice chair for the Camarillo Chamber of Commences' community charitable organization in 2014. Bob has two children ages eight and nineteen and lives with his wife, the former Jennah Livingood, and youngest child in rural Washington State 50 minutes outside Seattle.

Bob enjoys spending time with his family in outdoor activities; camping, fishing and shoreline nature walks; visiting science museums and university exhibits; and golfing on occasion. The clean cities and many admirable businesses in the area is attractive. Bob and Jennah feel fortunate to live in the forested area of Washington with so many great, nationally recognized features nearby. The culturally diverse communities found in the state is welcoming.
